Lisa Ransom - Vicar and Executive Director
Lisa grew up in the Rocky Mountains in Boulder Colorado and found her home here in the Green Mountains over 25 years ago. She and her husband Scott managed a farm and a business (Grow Compost of Vermont) while raising their three children in Central Vermont. Lisa has been ordained since 1995. She has held many positions in Episcopal Church in Vermont. She now serves as the Executive Director and Vicar at Mission Farm. She is an avid weaver, loves yoga and can always be found in the garden.
Kasey King - Executive Assistant
Originally from Brigantine, New Jersey, Kasey found her home in Vermont in 2019. She spent many years as a professional musician, performing with opera companies across the country. Once settled in the Green Mountain State she refined her design and operations skills and served as a volunteer for local non-profit organization, Pittsford Village Farm. She is a lifelong baker and enjoys trail running.
Advisory Council
Laura Kent
Laura has worked in the economic sector for most of her career. She has served as the President of the Episcopal Hospital Chaplaincy Board, the Woodstock Foodshelf and currently as the President of the Mission Farm Advisory Council.
Sarah Cowen
Sarah recently recently retired from her position as Vice President of National Bank of Middlebury. She is currently President of the Trustees of the Diocese of Vermont. She enjoys her lakeside camp in the far reaches of Vermont’s NE Kingdom.
Kim French
Kim is a marketing and communications executive. She is passionate about brand building, media management and communication planning. She is also the “queen bee” for Mission Farm’s apiary.
Nancy Daigle
Nancy is a Library Media Specialist of 20. years. She is passionate about the power of books. She also serves as a mentor. Nancy loves the outdoors and can be found floating on her kayak during the summer months.
