Gardens
The meadow beside the church building is home to a raised bed garden which is open to the community for growing and learning. We offer programming on how to supplement food for yourself using raised beds, patio space, or suburban sized lots (¼-1 acre).
Up the mountain in a clearing stands another garden area, which is being managed using no-till regenerative practices and set aside to grow food for the Abenaki Land Link project in collaboration with NOFA.
We will be taking reservations soon for contributions of work in our garden! Please be patient as we get our raised beds sited and our seedlings prepared!
We believe that gardening and land management are spiritual practices that can teach us reverence, self-lessness, and compassion. These practices are deeply rooted in the Christian tradition and transcend the bounds of any one religion. To learn more or to engage with us in this practice, please see our Events page.
