Explore the sacred land at Mission Farm, just south of Killington, and clear your mind. This invigorating hike will take us uphill on the trails behind the picturesque church, where we'll experience the beauty of pine groves, babbling brooks, mossy deciduous forests, and views of nearby Killington Mountain during foliage season. Along the way, we'll do accessible yoga poses, breath work, and meditation. I'll read inspiring quotations and invite reflection on the connection between nature and the soul. If you love the woods and want to explore it in a new way, this event is for you!
No yoga experience is necessary, but since we'll be hiking up a 500-foot rise, a basic level of hiking fitness is required. Registered participants will receive a few days beforehand an email with detailed information about directions and what to wear/bring. To register, click the link below. The event fee is $35, and a portion of the proceeds will go to support Mission Farm, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to love and the land by understanding the interconnection of all things and the value of biodiversity. This 180-acre land includes gardens, an amphitheater, hiking trails, and the historic Church of Our Saviour.
